What is Marvel Multiverse RPG?
Marvel Multiverse is the official tabletop RPG from Marvel Entertainment, designed to let players step into the Marvel Universe as established heroes or build characters entirely from scratch. It uses a d616 dice system — three six-sided dice, with one special "Marvel die" — that creates the kind of swinging, unpredictable tension you'd expect from a superhero story.
The game is built around the feel of a Marvel comic. Sessions are cinematic, characters feel powerful from the start, and the system actively encourages big dramatic moments. It is not D&D. That is a feature, not a bug.
What's it like at the table?
Expect action. Combat in Marvel Multiverse is designed to feel heroic rather than tactical: players use iconic powers, pull off team combos, and interact with the broader Marvel Universe in whatever way the GM has set up.
The roleplay side is just as present as the punching. Moral dilemmas, faction politics, and character relationships are baked into the game's DNA. This isn't a superhero beat-em-up simulator with good art direction. The best sessions have genuine weight to them.
For one-shots specifically, Marvel Multiverse works brilliantly. A tightly written mission with a clear villain and a team of heroes is about as satisfying as a single session gets.

Is it good for beginners?
Reasonably, yes. The Marvel familiarity helps a lot. Players who have never touched a TTRPG before often find it easier to engage when they already know the setting and characters. "What would Captain Marvel do here?" is a much more intuitive question than "what does my 5th-level wizard know about this dungeon?"
The rules are not the simplest system on the market, but a good GM handles most of the mechanical complexity. As a player, you mostly need to know your character's powers and when to use them.
If you have been curious about TTRPGs and Marvel is your entry point, this is a very sensible place to start.
What kinds of games are running in Singapore?
TTRPGoblin hosts Marvel Multiverse sessions run by independent GMs — one-shots and short arcs, typically for three to five players. Games vary in tone: some GMs run tight heist-and-fight missions, others lean into the interpersonal drama and moral weight that the best Marvel stories carry.
Most sessions are welcoming to newer players. The listing will usually tell you what experience level the GM is pitching to, so there are no surprises on the day.
How to find a game
Browse TTRPGoblin's listings and filter by Marvel Multiverse. You will see available sessions, the GM's profile, and a description of what the game involves. Sign up for the waitlist on any module that looks like your kind of story, and you will hear from the GM when a slot opens up.
If nothing suits your current schedule, the waitlist is worth using anyway. GMs pay attention to demand when they plan their next sessions.
